9 squares · 9 guesses
How to play
- Each square crosses a row rule with a column rule, such as agency, formation decade or number of members.
- Pick a square and search for a group that fits both rules.
- You have 9 guesses for 9 squares. Wrong guesses count too.
- Each group fits one square only. Once a group is placed correctly, you can't use it again.

How to play the K-pop Intersection Grid
The grid has 3 rows and 3 columns. Each row and each column carries a rule about K-pop groups, such as the agency, the formation decade or the number of members. For each of the 9 squares, pick a group that matches both its row and its column.
You get 9 guesses for 9 squares, and a wrong guess still uses one up. A group can fill only one square, so if a name fits several crossings, save it for the square with the fewest options. The search box only lists groups from the game's catalog, so spelling and romanization won't trip you up.
When the game ends, the answers screen lists every group that would have counted in each square, along with the source behind each rule.
Where the K-pop Intersection Grid data comes from
The rules are built from each group's formation date, record label and member list. A member count is used only when every current member of the group has an accepted source. If any member is disputed, the group is left out of the member-count rules. The generator rejects any grid with an empty square and never uses the same kind of rule on both axes.
A program reads the Wikipedia and Wikidata APIs, stores the revision of every page it reads and records where each fact came from. A fact reaches the games only if it points to a Wikidata reference or to a passage in a specific Wikipedia revision.
Every day at 15:00 UTC, noon in São Paulo, an automated process refreshes the database and builds the next day's games. Each file goes through a format check, and nothing goes live when one of them fails.
K-pop Intersection Grid FAQ
Why wasn't my group accepted?
A square only takes a group that matches both its row and its column. If the group shows up in the search but doesn't complete the square, it fails one of the two rules. A group that already filled another square is out too, because each group fills one square only.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your streak and stats are saved in your browser. To move them to another device, use export and import in the stats window.
Does the puzzle change every day?
Yes. A new grid goes live at midnight São Paulo time (03:00 UTC), and everyone plays the same one that day. If the generator can't build a valid grid, the site repeats the previous one as long as it stays valid.
